Rudy: ”Hello! Good morning.”

Sitter. “Good Morning.”

Rudy. “How are you?”
Sitter. I am fine thanks.”

Rudy. “Good I am pleased that you play your recordings to some of our friends. I hope it will make some impression on them and make them more anxious to know more about the truth. Can you hear me?”

Sitter: “Yes I can hear you perfectly.”

Rudy: “What shall we talk about?”

Sitter: “Lets talk about your experiences when you passed over.

Rudy. “Like so many people when I first came over, I was very mixed. I was very anxious to return for various reasons. I wanted very much to communicate and of course I was very successful and I had great hopes that I might eventually have been able to give many things through Natacha, but unfortunately it was not to be. Circumstances changed. There were difficulties, and eventually it was impossible.
I have discovered so much since, of course, my coming here, how much love is in the world, how much real sincere, deep affection, from people you would perhaps, least expect. It was a wonderful realisation. It helped me considerably, the affection and love that people sent out to me soon after passing. Certainly it has been very helpful to me and I like to feel that in some way where it is possible I am able to help those people who have been so loyal and kind to me.

It has given me great happiness to feel that people still remember, still think of me and still understand well, that I am very much alive, you know, it is wonderful, because some people, they have no realisation of life after death. They think when you are dead, you are dead. But do many people I have found who were interested in, me and my work and who never met me always think of me very much alive.

To me it is a great joy and it means I can often draw near them and help them which I do. I am so glad that when I was on your side I had the psychic experiences I did for they were a great help to me and there is so much that one feels one wants to say on such an occasion as this. I see my life, and I see it in such a different light to what I used to, I would not now, in some senses, have it any other way, I have no regrets. I see my life as a pattern at the time which seemed to be OOH! A mess. It seemed to have no sort of, I don’t know how to say it? But it  seemed to have no sort of real purpose. It seemed as if it was always that I was achieving nothing of real value. I used to think to myself sometimes: "where am I going"? Where is my life leading me? It was as if my life was leading me, and it was as if everything was in command, excepting me. You know, I felt as if I was not controlling my life. My life was controlling me all the time.

Circumstances always seemed to pitchfork me into some sort of a position where I could do little or nothing. I had to accept things for what they were and people, of course. Sometimes I had to be extremely pleasant and nice to people who I had nothing in common with, who were so material in every sense that really although I was not in a sense a Spiritual person, at the same time I had certain values, a certain inner somthing, I cannot explain, these people used to create in me a feeling of revulsion almost, but at the same time I realize now all the setbacks, all the disappointments, and the success, and the success was the hardest thing to bear of anything really in a way. It seemed so nice to be a success, but, MY GOODNESJ ME! I think I suffered more in my success than in my failure.

It is very difficult to explain this but when I was on earth I always seemed to meet what I suppose people on earth would have said were the right people, but they were not necessarily the right people. They were the right people for my career, but they were not the right people for me as an individual, someone who might have achieved much more within a spiritual sense. Funny thing about fame is that you would think that it would make greater opportunities and open more doors for you. In a material sense that is true, but it doesn't necessarily mean in an artistic sense that it does. Often you want to do something very badly, but people says 'No! you must stay and do the things that are safe, the things people expect of you', They don't see and realize that the only way to achieve anything that is of real value is to accept a challenge and I always wanted to do certain things, as you know, which would have been I think something of a higher order.

That is where Natacha was always right. She was always sensible on those things but at the same time there was always the material aspect of whether this would pay or whether it would bring in the money at the box office. Always when I was on your side, in my work particularly, I wanted to do things that were sincere, things that were true, things that were of life, to make people realize more if they could see the oneness of humanity, to try if I could to make people see Truth, to break down barriers between nations and people, creeds, all the things that held them apart. That was one of the great beauties of the silent pictures that we Could reach everybody, no matter whether they were educated or uneducated, whether they could read or not. It made little or no difference and it didn’t matter if they were of this country or that one, this religion or that. That is why my films were important to me, that is why I wanted to play the sort of parts that I could reach people and make them think, make them feel and to express the deeper emotions of humanity, to make them see the futility of war, hatred, malice and intolerance, to make them understand truth, life and to live life more happily and more freely.

That is why I suppose my films still have some importance apart from the fact that I know there are those only concerned with watching me as a person, but if they saw in me what I tried to express than that makes me very happy. I think that most of them still realize, that I was something more than just more than an actor, that I was an in a sense a vehicle of the expression, not only of my own feelings and emotions, but of the feeling and emotions of others who worked through me. In the old days when I used to study a part, particularly the parts that I was so interested in like Julio and Gallardo I used to be so taken away with the character that I seemed to lose my own identity.

I realise of course, now that I was controlled, that I was helped from this side by souls of similar nature and temperament who had the experience, and they could help me with their work. I realised in my lifetime these things to some extent I had a realisation of psychic things and communication,  as you know, but I did not fully understand it, and now it is strange how the circle has turned, as it were, completely and here you come together in remembarance of me and most of you have this understanding.

It is a great joy to me to know that I can use an instrument such as this to communicate with my friends. I think it is very important to realize that voice is basically sound waves, vibration and that behind this vibration is the individual mind. In other words I have to think of which I wish to convey and then that though it transmitted into sound waves. When you are talking to each other on earth you have your vocal organs, and they vibrate. You create sound, you vibrate the atmosphere, and you get the voice, the reproduction is artificial, although in a sense, I suppose you would say that it is a natural voice because it is created by your own larynx.

We have to build from ectoplasm, this substance is drawn from a medium, an artificial voice box. We have to reproduce as it were, the scientists have to reproduce, something similar to your vocal organs and these are vibrated just the same as you vibrate your own vocal organs by the thought force that you have.
Everything basically is thought. You reproduce this sound by vibrating the atmosphere. Voice in itself is only artificially reproduced sound, wave lengths, vibrations in tie atmosphere. Everything which you consider is normal and natural, when you analyse it, it has a natural law which it must obey, but at the sane tine everything is sound vibration, A voice is merely vibration. we do exactly the same when we come to you. People don't understand that.

They think that it is not possible, but it is possible because you have exactly the same thing when you consider the telephone, it is only vibration along wire. You have television, It is vibration in the atmosphere. The radio is vibration all in the atmosphere, sound waves which are picked up by a sensitive receiver and reproduced to you, it is only a reproduction of something, it isn't...even there again it isn't the identical thing. If someone speaks in New York the voice tnat you hear in London may sound identical, but it isn't really, in a sense the same voice, it is only the sound waves reproducing. the same as a film, when you watch a film in a cinema you are only hearing artifically reproduced sound waves of someone's voice that has been captured on the film. In other words, the real person is not, in a sense, even there.

It is possible to create by thought force sound waves vibrating the atmosphere. People don't understand enough technically and it is difficult for me to explain to you,but,so much that you accept as ordinary, normal and natural, when it is analysed, it is all scientific and artificially reproduced, When you make a recording of the tape it sounds identically the same but its not the voice, it is only vibration. It is the same with us, we come and talk to you, we concentrate our thought on the artificial voice box, we vibrate through that the atmosphere, and you receive our voices but it is an artificial voice, it isn't actually, there is no such thing in a sense as a real voice, it is all sound wave and vibration. What I would like very much is to be able to reproduce my voice identically tone and everything as it was when alive, because, I think for those people who remember me sufficiently or remember the sound of my voice, although, after all who can remember a voice after 40 years, what the sound of It was! How difficult it must be for people to recapture and remember the tones of a person's voice, no matter how close they were to them. It is amazing how quickly one can forget the person's voice. You may sayt'0h yes.' When you hear it again you suddenly remember it and says 'Ah, it is so and so's voice,' that is true in many instances but it is very difficult, you know, when people have been a long time separated, time, you know, can affect memory. I would like very such to be able to reproduce identically in every sense my own voice. I do my best but how much it is so it is very difficult to say.

One does as best one can. In a sense, everything basically is thought, transmission of thought in some shape or form, by sound, by vibration. The physical body which seems real and solid to you, it is real and solid only because you are in vibration with the conditions of your world, but once you cease to be in vibration and harmony with the vibrations and conditions of your world, you cease to exist in that world, and yet you are still existing in a different world, in a different vibration, it is only a transmission of one vibration to another, lowering the vibrations to be able to reach the earth, that is exactly what we do, we lower our rate of vibration so that we can make ourselves felt as it were, or make ourselves understood, or accepted, we transmit our thoughts in such a way that you receive them artificially, no doubt, but, nevertheless they reproduced sound and you think - and indeed it is true - we are in the room but not in the same physical sense, but in a mental sense.

We are with you all the time often mentally and Spiritually and when we come and speak to you we are merely lowering our vibratory rate to harmonise with your own so that you know we are present and try to convey things to you, but basically behind everything we say is the thought force. It is the power of thought that is life, because without it none of us would be conscious, none of us would be able to communicate at all, behind all life is thought force. This is the important thing, to be able to reach people, to be able to make them understand that there is no such thing as death. That it is something which people fear without cause. It is a great adventure which everyone should look forward to with anticipation and happiness, the renewing of old friendships aad meeting of people that you have known and loved, and entering into a condition of life which is far different and much happier than the earth even.

The fundamental Truth of life has always been the same. There are many people on your earth who are afraid of Truth, they are afraid to delve and to seek and it seems to me that since it concerns everybody you would have thought that everybody would be interested, but it Is not so. Many people for various reasons fight shy of delving into this because of religious reasons, strong religious prejudice or perhaps fear, it is invariably fear anyway, fear of something. So many people are afraid to even think about death and yet it is something which everyone must face. I don't know why there should be this fear because it is something that should be looked forward to, it is a great adventure it is.... well it is going to sleep in one roam as it were, and waking up in another far more beautiful. There is no reason why people should fear. It is this which holds them back.

They will,atrive to seek and to find. So many people arrive here unequipped you know. They have no idea, no knowledge, no experience, nothing to guide them. There is so much ignorance. It is this ignorance that we want to wipe away. we want to give people a real foundation, so that they can be sure, be certain about things, about death in particular. Death is some- thing which is so vital, which affects every human being, everyone must die, and yet everyone' most people anyway, are afraid of it, are scared of it. They don't understand, they think it is something that you must not dwell upon, not think about. I don't suggest one should dwell on it.

When you are living in your world you have to experience many things in a material sense. You have to combat many vicissitudes of life. But if You have the realization of Truth, this wonderful feeling of elation that must come with the fact that you are going to eventually be released from much of the conditions of life on earth which cause distress and anxiety. At the same time you are not going to loose contact with the people you have known and loved on earth when you come here, and that you are also going to meet many souls who went before you. If you can have a real understanding of these things, It is going to make so much difference. After all why should you not learn something about a country before you go there.

If you are going to visit Italy or Germany or where ever it may be you like to read about that country, you like to know something about it. What to expect and. what to look for and so on yet people never never consider the great adventure which everyone must take. They always avoid it. surely, it is a good thing to learn something about it. That is why I think if we can in a series of sessions like this be to be able to discuss life after death„ what it means and how to prepare for it in the right sense and how at the same time to live in your world in a balanced sort of way. After all we don't expect people on earth to be saints because there are no saints here. Everyone is a human being according to his developmen- or lack of it. Nevertheless everyone has developed to a point. I mean no one stands still. There is no such thing as being stationery. HERE everything is life and movement and change. HERE we are learning and expressing and everyone is an intelligent human being. We don't look upon ourselves in any way as being far removed from the earth. We may be far removed from the earth in certain respects, that is mentally and spirit-- ually but we are still very much in touch with the earth; in touch with the people that we love, trying desperately to help them and to guide them and to uplift them if we can.

There are unfortunately very few people which, will be helped, who will allow themselves to be helped. They do not even realize that we are trying to communicate with them that's why, if we can break down the barriers and we take away the fear that people have we can help them. That is the whole idea of my coming and everyone else
